About Aiya

I’m from Almaty, Kazakhstan, where I grew up in an art school not far from my house, painting and learning how to express myself through art. From still lives and portraits to sculptures and human-size oil paintings, I found my passion in creativity. As I grew up, my art grew with me, sculpting my character and giving me a unique way to interact with the world.

In high school and college, design and art became a way to contribute to the world around me; creating cultural paintings for loved ones, designing brand assets for local corporations, and working on UX projects that solve real problems. Now, I am dedicated to creating human-centered designs that solve real-world problems and create meaningful, smooth experiences for users.

Outside of work, I’m passionate about staying creative through painting, reading, and re-imagining brands; this keeps my design thinking fresh and inspires me in the work process. I also love staying active through pilates and yoga.
